How to Get Your Car Title in New Jersey

What are you supposed to do if you find yourself in this situation? The state of New Jersey has a whole procedure outlined for you to follow if you’re needing a duplicate title. Before you head out, be sure to bring your latest registration for the car (even if it’s expired) and proof of insurance for the vehicle. There is a $60.00 titling fee, which you can pay via American Express card, MasterCard, Visa card, check, money order, or cash. They will also need a copy of your driver’s license along with the application.
