Timing Belt

Timing belts will inevitably need to be replaced. The tricky part with timing belts is to replace them, you’ll need to practically take apart your entire engine to do the job correctly. I don’t know about you, but taking apart and then reassembling my engine does not sound like my idea of a good time. It’ll be much less stressful on you to have a professional do the dirty work for you in this case.

Shock Absorbers

If the suspension in your car is off, it can make driving a lot less smooth. While it may make you want to climb under your car and fix the issue yourself, this can be a very bad idea. If your shock absorbers are improperly replaced, you could be putting yourself and others on the road in danger. Also, it’s never smart to try to fix something underneath a car on your own. Professional mechanics will have the right equipment to raise the car and fix your problems safely. And isn’t your safety worth spending a little extra money on?

Windshield

This repair doesn’t come up too often in cars, but if you’ve run into it, your best bets are either to sell the car or have a mechanic do the job for you.

Brakes

Hopefully it goes without saying that the brakes are one of the most important features of your car. It can be a relatively easy repair, but keep in mind that if you don’t do it 100% right, this could end in tragedy.
