Call Your Insurance
Now that you have one less car, truck, SUV, RV or boat to worry about, you can adjust your insurance payments to reflect the new status. Will your payments go down? It depends.
If you decide to use public transportation, you won’t have any car insurance payments to make, so your payments should go down to $0, obviously.
If you still own a vehicle, your insurance payments should still go down, but be sure to check if you had a multi-car discount, because your payments may not drop as much as you expected.

Tell Everyone You Sold Your Car
Well, maybe not everybody. Be sure to notify your state’s department of motor vehicles (DMV) of your car’s sold status. You may need to email a copy of your title to release your liability for the vehicle.
CashForCars.com will handle most of the messy paperwork for you, but some of the information requires your assistance to complete, so we can take full ownership of your junk car.
Decide How to Spend Your Cash
Are you a spender or a saver? We can’t tell you how to spend your money, but you may have gotten enough cash from us to put a nice down payment on a new ride, or you can save it for a rainy day. It’s your cash, so it’s your call!
If you have any questions about buying or selling your car, truck, suv, van. RV or boat, don’t hesitate to email us at info@cashforcars.com.
